A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the Greggs Foundation Sea to Shore fundraising walk on September 7th. The event was a wonderful success, and we were so delighted to have so many people join us for what was a fun (and tiring!) day.

16 miles of walking is no small feat, and nearly 200 people raised over £30,000 for the Greggs Foundation.  By taking time out of the working week, our Greggs colleagues, partners and supporters helped raise funds that will play a pivotal role in supporting our Breakfast Clubs.

We wanted to say a special thank you to the team at Talent 84 for providing all the food, drinks, goody bags and some of the excellent raffle prizes for this year's walk.  Thanks also to Nourished for the tasty treats, KEP Print Solutions for the banner, DImensions for the t-shirts and Quorn Foods for helping us to create a special keepsake of the day with a wonderful film.

Fundraising events such as these are vital to enable us to continue growing and sustaining our Breakfast Club programme. Currently, we operate over 840 breakfast clubs, providing a brighter start for more than 52,000 children every single day. In these challenging times, as the cost of living continues to affect households across the nation, the importance of breakfast clubs cannot be overstated.

Thanks to everyone taking part for once again supporting the Greggs Foundation. We hope to see you at the start of the 2024 walk and any future events planned in the run up to Christmas.
