The Greggs Foundation has today launched its 2025 Impact Report, offering a detailed overview of how we are making a difference in communities across the UK.

2025 marked a pivotal year for the Foundation, with the evolution of our long-standing Breakfast Clubs programme into Feeding Brighter Futures. This expanded approach now goes beyond breakfast to also support children across more of the school day, funding after-school activities, trips and enrichment opportunities. Over the course of the year, we were supporting over 75,000 children every day in more than 1,000 primary schools.

Our Community Action Fund also continued to play a vital role. In total, more than 100 organisations were awarded large community grants, representing £1.84 million of core-funding to support locally-led services and initiatives.

Our Relief Grant programme provided essential support to individuals and families experiencing acute financial challenges, with over £800,000 awarded in small grants. This included grocery and clothing vouchers, as well as vital household items such as beds and appliances, helping to reduce the immediate impact of poverty.

Fundraising and partnerships have never been more important. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Greggs colleagues and customers, over £900,000 was raised through Greggs shop and colleague-led fundraising. In addition, 148 external partners contributed over £500,000 to support our Feeding Brighter Futures schools programme throughout the year.

This year’s report clearly shows our theory of change in action, increasing access to food, opportunities and community support while reducing the impact of poverty.   We want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the Greggs colleagues, customers, funding partners, and trustees who continue to support the work of the Foundation. Your efforts help us create brighter futures for the children, families and communities we support all over the UK.
