We primarily support primary schools which meet our eligibility criteria. Typically, we prioritise schools in an area of high need where the school population is 40% FSM or more.
Our waiting list is currently closed to new schools as we prioritise transitioning our current school network from breakfast club funding to the new Feeding Brighter Futures grant. If the waiting list opens, we will announce this via our website and social media channels.
We will not provide funding for a Breakfast Club alongside another provider.
Feeding Brighter Futures offers schools a cash grant of £1,000 per academic term (x 3 times a year) to cover after school clubs, enrichment activities or holiday club support. We leave it up to schools to decide on the right opportunities that would offer the greatest benefit to their pupils. One of the benefits of being in the Greggs Foundation school network is access to our reiief grant to support families facing difficult circumstances. All schools can also access our free education programme, Agents of Change.
Please note, following the initial grant award, subsequent grants will only be payable on receipt of a satisfactory monitoring report from schools.
Providing appropriate staff cover is the responsibility of the School and Greggs Foundation funding cannot cover this. We do encourage volunteering.

Schools are required to complete and return a monitoring report every term to allocate and release funds. Current breakfast club schools will be invited to apply for the new Feeding Brighter Futures grant by the Greggs Foundation, please keep an eye on your inbox for application details.
