Hardship Fund
Greggs Foundation administers a Hardship Fund which includes funds from the Brough Benevolent Association, The Hadrian Trust, The Joicey Trust, The Sir James Knott Trust, The 1989 Willan Charitable Trust and The Rothley Trust.
Grant recipients must live in the North East of England and be in extreme social need. Priority is given to children and families.
- Applications should be made on behalf of a client by a welfare agency, eg, social services, probation service, citizen's advice bureaux, victim support, health, disability and housing projects and other such organisations.
- Grants of between £50-£150 and are given for essential items such as washing machines, cookers, furniture, fridges, carpets, decorating materials, baby equipment, clothing, school uniforms.
