Grants can be made for any purpose, provided it is in line with our mission statement and the request is not for one of the following areas:
- Animal charities.
- Large capital projects.
- Companies that are set up to make a profit.
- Overseas projects or overseas activities.
- Equipment for hospitals.
- School projects during the school day.
- Purchase of vehicles.
- Individuals (Other than through a recognised charitable organisation).
- Religious promotion.
- Repayment of loans or retrospective grants.
- Sports kit and equipment.
- Uniformed groups such as scouts, guides and sea cadets. Former service personnel are not included in this.
- Event sponsorship.
- Research.
