The Greggs Foundation is the corporate charity of Greggs plc. Greggs has always been a charitable company. Before the Foundation was established as a grant making trust, Greggs had established a strong reputation in the community, providing a range of social activities such as pie and peas suppers for older people in the Newcastle area.

The mission of the Greggs Foundation is to ‘make a difference to people in need in the heart of our local communities’. We prioritise organisations that support voluntary carers, people with disabilities, homeless people and older people. We aim to make a difference through the provision of our four main grant programmes, major grants, regional grants, breakfast clubs and hardship fund.

The Greggs Foundation is an independent registered charity (No 296590). It is managed by a trustee board, made up Greggs staff, Gregg family members and independent trustees.
